New contest for the Fall of 2009.
Video Contest
Make a video (not more than 3 minutes) on the preservation of traditional family (i.e. 1 dad 1 mom and children) showing the following points:
1. Why traditional marriage should be treasured over other forms of marriage, namely same sex marriage?
2. Why children fair better under a biological father and a biological mother in the family?
3. How does same sex marriage in Europe affect the moral, cultural and social health of the countries?
4. Other ideas.
The top three videos will be awarded:
1st Place $1000
2nd Place $800
3rd Place $500
Who can participate:
High school: 9th to 12th grade student (public, private, parochial or home-school) in the United States can participate.
College: Freshman and Sophmore student in an US college can participate. (Students entering junior level in the Fall of 2009 can also enter the contest). Students must do their own research and filming. Only one video per student is accepted.
How should I make the video?
The video should be no more than 3 minutes. It can be made from still pictures, animations, and life persons. We prefer the "wmv" or "mpeg" format. Send in the video through email. Open an account with YouTube. Post your video on YouTube and send us the link via email.
When sending in your video, send along a word file (id page) stating the video title with your name, age, grade level, school name, home address, phone number, email address and the YouTube link of your video.

Awards:
The video will be graded according to the content, filming skill, creativity, and quality of the research. The decisions of the judges are final. Other than the video awards listed above, awards will be given out to the top 3 "most-viewed videos" on YouTube. The awards are:
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $150
Publicity:
The copyright of the videos will become that of Traditional Family Coalition. The videos will be published on our website or other media.
Winners:
Announcements will be made online and by mail.
